I havent got one yet mate, Ive used macs for 20 years, not one virus.
The closest i got was downloading the autostart cdrom infection app to see what it was like.
I got a few on my pc infact more then Id like to mention, let alone spyware and hijackers.
If your referring to virii that infect a pc windows partition and then infect a linux / unix partition on that machine then i have nothing to worry about. I dont run a dual boot mac/windows system.

W32.Winux is *not* a platform-independent virus. W32.Winux's initial injection point must be a Windows machine -- it cannot start by infecting a Linux box. Once it infects a Windows computer though, it starts looking for certain files under the Windows file system *and* the Linux file systems. When it finds what it's looking for, it opens files and inserts code.

yesterday i made $xxxx on osx and macromedia mx.
I could have done the same on a pc sure no argument there.
The intergration of the os and the software however on OSX is like
a million times better for deving this kind of work on Apple.
I found 4 programs I would have to pay for but there are free unix alternatives everywhere i look now for osx.
You think im dumb enough to run as root on osx, I highly doubt you realize what your saying. lmao. Id have to install the virus.pfft get real matey.
2007 vista is delayed, so is my interest in MS's new OS crud cobble osx wanna be.
Please provide a link to your "statement" regarding apple slow at updating.
I just recieved a SECURITY UPDATE this morning from apple pty ltd.
I would look at the methods used to create the OS as to blame for the gaping security holes in windows before I defended it as a secure stable option for professional developers.
put vista on a 600 mhz pc and it will hardly run, OSX runs fine n dandy on a 400mhz and up.
