I decided to do new thread about this project and leave ''Game Demo by Nigezu'' thread for demo only. So I post all new screenshot in this thread for now on.

This game has got a really action packed gameplay and I'm trying to do best that I can with AI (it's not very good in demo version though).

Story of the first mission (story isn't ready yet): Terrorist are desinging new, revolutionary nuclear weapon in Russia and they are hiding blueprints in warehouse near Moscow. Russian Spetsnaz are defending this warehouse. U.S. goverment sends their best elite soldier (player) to steal those blueprints.
First objective: Retrieve blueprits.
Second objective: Get the hell outta there.

Story of the third mission (this story isn't ready yet too): Russian Spetsnaz attack in the office building in Los Angeles and players mission is bring order to chaos.

Here is a trailer! It's humoristic video of the level I'm working on.

Ok....

I watched the trailer and i've got some comments:

First off, its good quality, the level looks interesting and the gameplay is relatively action packed.

However:
1) The music is the wrong type for this kind of game.
2) The subtitle look cheap (would you ever see them on a real game trailer; i've never seen "Aw, ****" on one before)
3) Screwed up voice (possibly done on purpose)
4) The first shot is too long (just some guard in passive mode)
5) There's no info on the game, not even a title.
6) It really only takes place in one area of a level, you want to showcase a variety on enviroments, enemies and gameplay.

Speaking of variety, could i interest you in a crosshair pack?

Nice plug, AE.

I also thought the quality, action and layout were good.

The thing I see alot in demos, especially with custom textures is a size problem. The brick wall ( the size of the bricks ) is way out of proportion. It sounds like a trivial thing, but to me it detracts from realism.

It kind of looks like the brick wall in the old Windows Maze screensaver.

1) I forgot to mention this is a humoristic video of the level I'm working on. Sorry.
2) .....
3) There is helium effect in voice over because this is humoristic (real is not so humoristic).
4) I fixed that. Guards view cone angle was too short.
5) Remember this is just really early ''trailer''.
6) That's true. Real trailer that shows other environments comes later.

Thanks for feedback, guys!

Nice trailer, and nice level. I like the lighting and the layout.

criticism/improvements.

I'm with AE that the music is weak, it doesn't fit the atmosphere you've created.
I dont really like the cartoon voice, although it does make the killing a bit sinister. Kind of like watching Dora the Explorer Kill a priest.
And just one little thing... the people are a bit short. If the camera represents the player's head, then the enemies only come up to the players shoulder, maybe scale them up a bit?

other than that tho, it looks pretty cool. I'm downloading the demo at the moment!

Lookin very good, I love custom media.
Also great use of shader effects.

P.S. AE Good Idea on putting "Theft Protected" over the crosshairs, cause I just thaught "Way someone could just nik them" (I wouldnt though)

@ Natflash:
Thanks, i don't anyone has nicked any but even if they did, they'd have to remember:
1) i know who's bought the pack, if their name isn't on the list...
2) The crosshairs are not actual size, they've been scaled down.
3) The pic is a jpeg, meaning that the compression makes the crosshairs useless.

@ Nigezu:
I like those custom textures; you're starting to get really good at the custom media stuff. One thing though, it doesn't look as if the enemies in you're latest pic are holding weapons...are they?

Pic.

I'm going to do seperate .exes from each mission and every mission has got 2-5 objectives. One objective is one level. So when you complete one mission you can take a little break and continue sometime else and you don't have to play it over again.

How does that sound like?

You might make it:
"You have done a good job so far but we have another problem. You must come back to the USA!Spetsnaz have taken over an office building in Los Angeles.Your mission is to eliminate as many enemies as you can and come back alive."
Screenie looks nice.Very inventive.Keep up the good work.

Damn! I made .exe of the third mission but third level has got a runtime error. Maybe I have to do third level again.

But anyway, when I get that error fixed I have one mission of planned four missions ready. File size of all of them together should be something like 500-600Mb. With compression I probably can make put them in 350-400Mb. Is it too bad?

Not too bad. The demo for Empire at War is 780 or so megs so that wouldn't be too long of a download. I just reccomend Firefox for such large files

Little update!
I have:
half of first mission completed
start of second mission completed
whole third mission completed (I just have to get that runtime error fixed)
None of fourth mission completed.
