No questions are stupid.

Windows notepad saves files in .txt format by default. When you save the script;

1.Click on "File"

2.Then "Save As..."

3.On the bottom in File Name: Give it the proper name and the .fpi extension. (ie. scriptname.fpi)

4.In Save as type: Select "All Files"

5.Leave Encoding as ANSI

6.Click save.

Your script should now be saved as a .fpi script instead of a .txt file.

Hope that solves your problem.

You're problem was probably saving them as .txt-DON'T. Save them as .fpi
