I've been starting to build my client relationships, and now the offers are coming in like nothing normal. Finally accepting one of the offers though, i'm going to create a small mechanical bull riding game, and hopefully many more soon. (3 weeks dead line)

Thanks community for those who helped me learn to program, and inspired me to stick with software development

I'll be also creating my own games on the side(bomberman type game), but they've moved down one peg on the Priority list

Awesome. So you've set up some kind of freelance bespoke game dev company? So people are requesting a game and you're putting it together? Sounds pretty cool! What kind of customers do you get? I mean, what type of person wants a quick windows based game put together for their business?

yea, i've been trying to make as many free games / software to use as a showcase to my clients, i'm an old style programmer.

thats about the height of it

small / tall, fat / slim, male / female.

I never realised this before but, ALLOT of companies are willing to invest in games development, something small and cute to promote their company to todays youths. Heck if the company hasn't got a website up i'll throw in a free teaching session to get them up to scratch. (I also love saying i'll give disscounts few pound off here and there )\

I'm really excited about this now, the company is finally getting off the ground, I knew if I tried hard enough it would work . *Your only limitation is your own mind*

Good stuff I guess.

Don't most companies prefer flash games though? Easier to expose to customers...

Flash games are easy to make, too. If you can learn DBP, then you can learn Flash.

Actionscript is C-scripted though, but it shouldn't be too hard for most of you to understand. It's a very forgiving language, mind you.
