Some would say go to bug reports or DBP talk, but I think this is unrelated to any bugs to do with DBP, but most likely something something else.

When installing DBP U6 I get this error at 88% everytime, any suggestions? Other than to get a life

It sounds like you have a physical hard drive error. Maybe run a hard driver disk checker to make sure.

Or the setup is being corrupted somehow, and cannot read from itself

damn this PC, being a pain all the time Well if its my HD, then bugger, I'll check for stuff on it, well hopefully I'll get this job I applied for and then I can save up for getting a new comp, which by luck will be almost hassle free unlike this little b.

If it is a HD error, is there any other way to fix it? With out the aid of a pirate?

Before you take drastic action with your HD, have you deleted the setup, and tried re-downloading?

Well theres one thing I know, the installer wasn't damaged during download, when trying to open DBP earlier I found it became damaged by the install of U6.0 problem, I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it from the disk, it did the same but at 99%, I think there must be a problem somewhere, as I think install shield can be updated, I'll check for those, if not, then check my HD for errors, or if anyone has any idea the source of the problem described in the first post
