Hi im creating a new SI-FI game its called Destiny: The Scourge Of Space and is set in the year 2256, the story line is below and the screenshots are attached, tell me what you think.

The year is 2256, Earth has had 50 years of war with the Hemadron, the robots that were designed to make life easyer for Humans but for an unknown reason rebelled and attacked the Human race, but now the Human race has a breakthrough, a mysterious alien artifact has been recovered and your task is to retrieve this artifact for study and to unleash it's power as a potential weapon, but all is not as it seems and you have yet to descover the true enemy, one far more ancient and deadly than anyone can imagine...

Storyline is alright I guess, but post images as .jpg
I downloaded the image and I have to say it was nothing special at all. Just a large prefab room with some barrels which have been shot into the air. Make it more interesting.

I need to emphasise what Tom said.

Seriously, never, ever, ever post images as *.bmp--they're huge--nobody want's to download a 3MB file when they can get a virtually instant image in *.jpg format with very similar quality. Plus, *.jpgs are given the option to just "View" them when they're up there, so it becomes even easier for people to use them.

Honestly, TGC needs to implement a rule or program Apollo to reject *.bmps, because I'm really getting tired of it.

Nothing against you, though, Darth. A lot of people do it, so don't feel like you've commited some vicious crime, it's just that it happens so often that it gets frustrating.

I have to say storyline isn't really original. And screenie doesn't look really good.
No offence though.

if an ancient artifact has been recovered, why does the player need to retrieve it?

Hmm, im sure i've heard that storyline before, but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Why not try experiementing with some different lighting togove a more 'spacy' feel?

Well it does. Telling us there is some kind of hype isn't good enough. You need to at least hint on what it is. You can't just say that you're game stands out because it has a twist in the plot. So what? Lots of games do.

the plot twist is to do with betrayal and facing inpossable odds and in the end (hopefully) prevailing despite all this

I would be willing to be a voice-actor in your game. I work on a rate £1 per five minutes of dialogue. This may sound alot, but when you consider what how much a character in FPS game with no allies has to speak...

Just joking...i'll do it for free
