If somebody doesn't agree with your point of view, it's very immature to trash them. Obviously injecting a DLL and cheating in the game is going against their rules, so arguing the ethics of hacking and cracking is moot. Write a book if the topic inspires such passion

Perfectly legal my foot. Imagine trying to play an online game with hackers comng in as admin and kicking everyone. It would probably also make the whole game crash, because it would consider you to be an admin, so there would be two.

Not to be crass, but, that would explain my numerous whitepapers, issued since 2003,and the countless links to those papers, ive provided on just this thread alone, wouldnt it. And thats all just outdated, old school, low level, work. Or did you overlook all that. In which case, please see the above commment.

From the given link
Quote: "and one which would elevate hacking to the level of a terrorist act and invoke a mandatory life sentence."

According to what someone said earlier, Rich Davey and Lee Bamber are wanted criminals :S

Plus I think this article is meant to be hacking is a manditory life sentence when used in the situation where any governement network is involved, other wise it would be a stupid law.

It honestly is a demented law. Ive read countless articles of kids being hit with out of line fines for stuff like hacking a yahoo account.

You can use "sir," or "his majesty" if you want.

Pal, I may not know a whole lot about security issues, but I know a whole lot about computers, programming and the like. You really shouldn't make blanket statements like that, especially when don't even know who I am.

I shall use my psychic powers: I will be quoted!

Which, BTW, a search on Google for Locky Chu brings a TCG thread as #1

x1b, whether you're right or not, you do not need to be insulting other people. Not only is it a terrible debate tactic but its against the AUP.

If you're looking for a noob slap, keep up the personal insults. Can't have an open discussion on hacking without getting so defensive?

This isn't a contest, and you're certainly not the judge. Even so, what have you said that's intelligent? Throughout this whole thread it's been nothing but "ur dumb" comments and "hacking is teh rockzor" coming from you.

Quote: "Im extremely right. "

Can't you see that you couldn't be more wrong? Everyone is against you, save Hawkeye, who seems to disagree just a little less.

I can't believe you can get so vicious over the definition of a "hacker." You know who gets like that? Guys with no lives. There was a guy like that in my C++ class. He'd get defensive over the stupidest things. He eventually got kicked out.
