i found dark basic on amazon on 19$ and i am thinking of buying it
i just have some questions, do any models like characters come with it? i cant model characters, just guns and stuff and another thing, is dark basic worth buying? i've heard really neat things about it i

yes it comes with models there not the best but there models. you can find models for it on turbosquid and 3dcafe but you can also buy mdarkmatter wich comes with a whole load of models. if you foun dit for 19$ i think that might be darkbasic light but i dont know hope this helps.

The version from Amazon is the full version and it also comes with the enhancement pack, so it's an excellent deal. It comes with quite a bit of media, but it isn't the best quality. Still, it will get you started. I don't know about FPSC characters though. My guess is probably not.

DarkBASIC and DarkBASIC pro are definitely worth it.

If the FPSC characters are in .dbo, .3ds or .x format (which I think they are) then unless they're encrypted to only allow FPSC to use em' (I highly doubt it), then yes you can use FPSC models with DB (especially since FPSC was made with DBP).

I'm not sure 100%, since i do not have dbc only dbp.
But i thought i remember reading that dbc only supported hierarchy limb key frame animations and not rigged bone animations and, i thought that fpsc used bone animations.
I know the models work fine in dbp not sure about dbc though.

They probably don't work in DBC. You need to find the Darkmatter models, which were made for DBC.
