The website has a couple screen shots plus a tech demo. I've only done a few thousand lines of code but I've never programmed a 3d game before so I'm definitely ready for some feedback. So far all I have is an infinite world with endless critters and trees even though its all homogenous. I'm proud of my terrain algorithm. You always get the same terrain in the same places even though the world is infinite and it looks pretty natural though it still needs tweaking. There's a huge amount of rpg and battle coding done that I haven't implemented yet. I need to adapt over a thousand lines of code from a text based rpg engine I made. At the rate I'm going I'll have no problems programming, but you might notice all of the artwork is borrowed. I've never done 3d art and I'm finding it tricky to teach myself. Programming is much more intuitive for me.

nice work on the landscape dude!

btw, fix the tree transparency. set it to level 2 or 4 (set object transparency Tree,2)
that should fix your bug with the trees..

i recognise the music from sonic adventure one... i think
only thing is... it ran at 20FPS and on a pc of my spec (check the sig) that is not good

i'd sort that out if i was you

pricey.

that's a little bit strange... I get normally get 40 fps or 30 minimum and my computer is a 1.3 ghz athlon with a gforce fx 5200... you should get like 200 fps if I get 40. The finished product will have settings you can play with to improve performance, especially to change how much of the world is loaded at a time. Being able to see a mile in all directions is just a cosmetic improvement, its not crucial to any of my gameplay ideas.

oh and you were right about the little filler midi i stuck in there! Its the robot guys theme.

Oh I forgot to mention if you get in a battle it will go on forever because I haven't implemented rpg stats yet so attacking them does no damage. Also what fps is everyone else getting i'm curious what's going on with that?

Hi Animate,
This looks pretty good even though you can only walk around. I accidently walked up to a monster and got stuck in the never ending battle. Also, are supposed to take control of the monster? Maybe just a glitch right now. I got 50-60 fps when i ran it.now you just need to get those stats and weapons in there with some more monsters. Storyline helps too. Hope progress goes well

The nintendo Wii. Okay...
