You should actually read what the blue screen says, and report back to us.

On the second line it will say something like "IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL" or "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR", that will be your best hint at what the problem is.

A google for that error returned this link http://kindel.com/blogs/charlie/archive/2004/05/26/282.aspx
that indicates either a bad device driver or a bad memory stick.

I would suggest you uninstall any recently installed/updated drivers in Safe Mode (if you can get there), or checking your memsticks.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=BAD_POOL_CALLER&btnG=Google+Search

[EDIT]
Also try including the stop strings (0x2c etc) in your google search, it will help narrow down the specific cause.

How do you get to safe mode, I've tried different ways, and it didn't work, can't find it....

For win2k and later: After powering up, press F8 repeatedly until you get the boot menu. Start hitting F8 as soon as the BIOS POST has completed.

For Win98 and before: Hold Ctrl key after POST for boot menu.

Well try the repair install again with any extra PCI cards, USB devices, or other peripheral hardware not necessary unplugged. Try also disabling any devices in BIOS that are not required for the OS to run such as printer ports, serial ports, sound chips, etc and see if you get a different BSOD error. If you get the same error then you can suspect the memory has gone bad, so try playing musical memory sticks. Wear a grounding wrist strap.

I give up.

Probably stuffed the motherboard then if you replaced every single component and it still had power. Have you tried resetting the motherboard? Normally is a matter of putting a jumper over a couple of pins (look in manual). Probably a good idea just incase the board isn't shorted, and might just work. If not then new motherboard. Same thing happened with mine. Apparently the fan broke and it just melted part of the board. Unfortuantly I didn't notice and replaced just about everything. Had a pretty top spec PC though by the end of it Was a good excuse....

Cheers

I've been hearing pretty good reviews from BenQ products, but I know for a fact their monitors sucks. Workplace is full of those fuzzy screens.

I had a 400mhz e-machines for 3 years and it never once crashed on me, never once had a hardware failure. But it was slower than the plotline for a Charles Dickens book and more boring than Gigli.

E-Machines Bios is like AOL. It has no features that the user is allowed to mess up. Took me ages to get into Bios in the first place. Press Delete twice or something like that.

I must say, I have never had an actual [system] crash. Fine, programs have never crashed, but Windows itself has never messed up or BSOD'd for as long as I've had this computer (since about 2003/2004)

No, I took it out and replaced it to find the heart of the problem, and sure enough, it was the motherboard. And my CPU wouldn't be worth mutch of anything...
