is there any dll's or anyway of sending things from darkbasic pro to a printer to print things off?

I think there was another topic about this...the answer was no as i remembered...but it is possible...keep learning about how to make a dll and maybe you'll become your own answer !

Yes, there is a way to use the printer with DBpro. You can find what your looking for in the DLL Talk forum. There are several posts concerning this very topic. You can download a complete set of plugins that handle this as well as some other useful things not found in the normal DBPro command set. You will need to have some sort of C++ compiler to build most of them because they are provided as source code. The author no longer supports these plugins, and most of them don't give you any usage examples. If you are familiar with C++, you can figure out what the commands are from the string tables provided for the build.

Well, if you want to print an image you can use this code:
Just replace "test.bmp" with the image, and change "C:\" to the directory the image you want printed is in.

As long as your printer "knows" Paint and Notepad, it should work.

why the printer doesnt need to know them programs because the printer works of the windos spooler system all windows does it puts the information to the printer divers and the printer drivers should then put it into a format that the printer understands and will pritn that information.

lol i think they should program it in another upgrade because it could prove handy for games if you want to rint out a few details and that or for applications
