Ok, i finished my main project for this year, and i decided to make a 3d animation, somewhere between monkeydust and creature comforts. All the characters, models, textures and animation bar a vase, and the sofa are my own work.

I'm not entirely happy with it, and i wish i'd spent more time working on it than i did getting wasted, but then i wouldn't be having a good time at uni would i?

so, its 5 minutes long, the compression's questionable and its 15 meg to download

right click>save target as.... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bellevueroas/streetlife2.avi

tell me what you think

cheers

Manic

Note to mods:wasn't really sure where to put this, it wasn't game related, so i went for off topic.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Didn't work for me... my media player thought it was audio only (that was after it downloaded a codec.

is there another version with different compression?

I don't think it's caused by not being the newest media player... it play normally plays MPlayer 10 without any problems...

The Models look good, but they are looking me like they had just seen an UFO. Maybe that's becouse of me, but everything else is quite good.

How long did you make this, whole year?

EDIT: @SimSmall
Video: XVID 400x300 25.00fps 406Kbps [Video 0]
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 22050Hz mono 47Kbps [Audio 1]
You need xvid codec, and I could recomend alternative software like using Media Player Classic to play movies.

Lip-Sync was horrible, but some models looked good.

Hey man. Amusing in places. I like the conspiracy theorist and perverted grandpa. A little sinister, but aren't all grandpas?

The characters aren't very lively, they need to make facial expressions and move around more. A pretty good effort though.

yea the eyes are creepy, almost seema bit too big? the actual pupils and iris that is, to make it better perhaps make the scenes better and maybe more movement, i didnt really find it very funny, the chav scene could have been funnier if the shouting at the kid sounded real but it sounded like a very similar tone.

Hallowed are the ori.
