well thats pretty muchy the problem i made a texture and put in the media/textures folder and it doesnt work

If some one told you they were a patheological liar would you bleive them......

You need to specify the full path + file extenstion for the image. Like:



And lets say that the image was laying in another folder:


The first example will work if the image is in the same folder as your exe. And the second example... Lets say you had a folder named "data" in the same folder as your exe, then that example would work.

now it says runtime error 506 could not load image at line 1
i did what you said and the texture is in the same folder as the exe

Hmmm... Are you sure you do it right then?
I have attached a folder with a source code and a texture. Compile the code and see the textured object spin.
