back from a hiatus of insanity,
IBOL returns to the 20-line challenge.

this 3d shooter features innovative action, progressively harder levels,
timer-based movement, and even saves your high scores!
no media, the program does it all in just 18 lines.

i was seriously hoping for a lot more comments on this.
sometimes i just get into programming moods,
and like to pump out 20-liners, because
you can make an entire game within a 48-hour period,
lemme know,

Great Job.

Some things you could do would be:
Zoom
Ability to change rotation
and Randomize enemy movement

You really ought to make more this was really great
My highscore 1345

If at first you dont succeed, LOWER YOUR STANDARDS.

It's a good idea for a game, although I'm not very good at it because my mouse needs a serious clean because it's sticking. It's not the fact that I'm crap at it.

the crosshair seems alittle off center, and some enemies just go straight through the ground (i know this is because the box has already gone but it just seems wrong) it's an amazing one-time game though.

I'll admit that I wasn't too good at this game (I'll blame it on the fact that I was using a touchpad), but I was still impressed. It's a fun game to play. It sorta reminded me of my days playing defender for the Atari 2600.

I began to get a slightly sick feeling from the constant rotation.

Thanks for giving the expanded source code. I'm sure I will learn a few things from your game.

Very nice. The fact you did it all without media and crammed it into 20 lines is the most impressive thing in my book. I bet this will show up in the next newsletter.

i am doing some research for a new 20-liner i'm working on.
it would involve downloading a text file for the game.
media is allowed, up to 200k , and it probably would be max 25k
am am trying to attach a plain text file here. it's just the source to this game.

OK, that works.
now, would you be willing to download a small file for a 20-liner?
thanks, bob

I like it.

It's fun.

The only thing I didn't like was the speed of the rotation - the fact it was rotating was nice, but maybe not so fast? And, at times, I would click on one of those little buggers and it wouldn't actually shoot!

That, or my eye sight is really off today...

Steve
