I've tried a different style on eBay to try and get an item noticed. Working on the viral approach, please tell me (marks out of 10) if you would show this to somebody else because of the way it is written. AND tell me how you would make it more noticeable if you have more ideas. I have lots to sell, and want to fine-tune my technique, which is currently non-existent .

This reminds me of so many strange e-bay things (such as someone selling the thought that counts he recieved for christmas), except you have something to sell.. And I rather like the look. The wording was cute.

"One World, One Web, One Program" -Microsoft ad.
"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer"(One People, One Kingdom, One Leader)-Adolf Hitler.

That's my son, it's his Gameboy.

I'm glad you like the wording, I've gambled on a similar tact for my dad, who is selling washing machines. In those, I've asked people to vote on whether his understanding of washing machines is good enough...

You're a loony, BatVink. Hahaha, it is indeed a very interesting way to get things sold. Now just time to see if it works...

I think it's great. You get all the important information across in an entertaining way. It reads just like you're dealing with a person selling an item. So many eBay auctions don't do this and suffer as a result (imo).

Good luck with the sale.

EDIT:: About the washing machine sale, I think I've read somewhere that you're not meant to put links to other pages in your product description. Apologies if I'm wrong.

You may be right, there's so many T&Cs it's difficult to find the information you need. It's a perfectly innocent page though, no other advertising or conflicts.

That's generally the case when you're related.
