does anyone know any of the accode.com guys?

They sent me a bad download link and I've been emailing their support email address for the past week, but no luck.

I'm starting to think that support@accode.com goes straight to their email trash folder...

thanks in advance

they sent me the link the very next day, unless it was automated...

their email said that the link is good for 7 days, and today is the 7th day and the link is still bad, and I emailed them every day about it.

I got other dlls from them and the links were fine. I'm just ticked at the lack of support.

I was hoping someone here might know one of them and let them know that I need help.

look em up http://accode.com/dbp.htm they have cool stuff.
I just wish they'd read their emails once every 3-4 days since their links expire in 7.

And how much did you pay for whatever it is that you bought?

Seems a bit odd. The web site looks fancy enough (dosen't mean much in a world of free templates) but it's full of spelling mistakes. Not the most professional outfit in my opinion.

EDIT:: According to the whois it's registered to someone in Russia, could explain the spelling.

Here's to the crazy ones.

It's the guys that made the Advanced Animation Plugin. Monster is his name on the forums. Brilliant guy, a man of few words. There are spelling mistakes, but everything he makes is awesome.

I've bought stuff from him before. Usually he's pretty quick to reply. Wish I knew...

Matt Rock, does it really matter how much I paid? $11.99 for the rmf importer.

soapyfish, The charge did say accode.com MOSCOW. I don't care much about spelling as long as the code is good

Cash Curtis II, Yeah I have the Advanced Animation Plugin, my favorite is his DBP flash plugin, and hope he keeps expanding its features.

Monster you say... Thanks, its a good start

Yes, because I'm curious But really, I was mostly asking because if it was a lot of money, like say $100+, then I'd be inclined to tell you to contact authorities... but are there any you can contact in a case like that?

man I don't want to even think of losing $100+
a whois on the accode site shows a name, a billing address, and phone number.
I could call the billing phone number in moscow its only 1c a minute...
All I say is he better have a good reason for not replying to emails addressed to a support account.
It's been over 7 days now, and the link expired, not that it ever worked

On ebay I recently bought from some idiot named dbxtl... a computer that I didn't really need (as I outlined in a different thread). Anyway, I gave the guy positive feedback, and after a week and a half I still didn't get my feedback. I wrote the doofus and asked him wth was up, and he wrote back, saying I was an impatient jerk. In retaliation, I left a "follow up" to my original feedback, saying "this guy is a dork, don't buy from him" in different words, and he responded to THAT with negative feedback. So I reported him to ebay as giving me unrightful feedback. The moral is, call the number, and if he doesn't give you the answer you're looking for, fly to russia and shoot him in the little toe. That always works for me

I just got an email back from accode...

this time the link worked, Yay

They gave no explanation why the link was bad and why it took them 15 days to do something about it. I just got the standard download email that said the link will expire in 7 days (I heard that before).

15 days of no response, I did not know if the got my emails, or if they are busy with other stuff, 15 days of sending emails to the support address. They could have at least emailed and said "we got your email, and we are working on it"

This was a bad experience. I just hope that the plugin was worth it

accode have some good plugins, but their support needs lots of help.
