... Im new to FPS creator completely I know nothing about the scripts even though they seem pretty simple but I was just wondering if it was possible to create certaint games types for multiplayer rather then just deathmatch like Teamgames Red Team Blue Team and play stuff like Team DeathMatch CTF Assualt Ect. So If some one could please let me know I would Realy Apericate it.

So Sorry If Im getting you wrong here but. Are you saying there haven't been any scripts made for it yet that allow these or that it's not Possible unless a FPSC Programmer were to include these into the application?

It is my understanding that simple death match is the only option written into the engine at this time. Scripting is not capable of making teams. There are no such commands to script.

So As for a free for all match with certaint modifcation of scripts like Making it as one weapon is bomb other is Base having a free for all Capture the bomb or CTF in the same way even though it's not teams?

well, it is possible to make it so that it says your on teams, and 1 "team" has certain logo/color, and the other has a diferent one, though it would mean only 1 person from that team would win, and there would be no way to stop team killing, so its not realy possible at the moment from what i gather

As I said before, all you need is to do is use the plrhaskey condition, and create a feild with a pole... the problem is that it would be a moot victory as your score would not register as such... I don't even think you will drop the key if you die...

I considered that also but you are quite right-I don't think a key of some sort would work in Multiplayer, but I am confident that they would drop the Key if they were killed. They drop the guns when killed, so it could be the same scenario for Keys, but still there's the problem of a Key not even working in Multiplayer asd it would need to be Dynamic.

well multiplayer does indeed need to be more varied, i sould suggest using the same objective system as multiplayer, i.e.
you can have a red team destroy the object, blue team protect mode. or kil/protect the VIP and stuff like that simply by turning them into objectives... this will of course need multiplayer to have teams aswell....

uhh... no they dont...

when you respawn, you still have the same weapons, its just you dont have anything out.

play an mp game, get some weapons, die, then scroll the mouse wheel or press a number.

see what i mean?

Hmm, I was sure that they dropped them during multiplayer, regardless of the fact that the Player does not drop them during a single Player game. Hmmm....perhaps i'm going crazy,

capture the bomb would be easy if you think about it


make it to where the first person to touch it wins

thats it
keep it at DM but throw in the bomb

and in the bombs script just put a win thingie on it

i forget what its called

If you want to make a switch or key or door dynamic (or change their scripts) in MP (yes, MP) then go to File->Prefrences and set to single player. Set things like switches and doors to dynamic (not anything with physics though, that would cause problems) and then go to File->Prefrences and set to multiplayer. I do this to switch door scrips and such, but I'm not sure if switches work right. It does let them work, but I'm not sure if it works on other computers. Same problem with opening a door with the 'enter' key.
