I have two pocket PC's a Jornada 547(really old from 2000) and a dell axim running windows CE 2002.and for some time know ive been trying to find a way to code games for them or even better code on them. Last night I ran across this link off a freeware site and found a VB compiler that was built for making games. So I downloaded it on both my pocket pcs and it works great!(especially on the Dell) It comes with example games with source that are very easily followed if you know visual basic or any other basic for that matter.

heres the link http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=2787&associateid=9

I used to have a programming kit for windows CE 2002 but I dont kno where i got it from. it might actually have been on the Palm site, a kit for Palm or WinCE 2002 programming. It was kinda cool too if i could dig it up ill post it.

Interesting. I'll have to have a look at that. Notice though that eVB isn't supported anymore and is pretty slow. Was pretty nice though. Keep meaning to dust off the manuals I bought at the time. Must also get round to using the .Net replacement.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
