Hi Guys. I like the free dwarf model from Psionics base of free things. However i am now looking for things like barracks, other same style and sized units.

Just any decent free models with animations really.

Please help me!

Thanks

Andy

To find out the animations a object has just load it into DB abd use the loop object command.

To load model all you have to do is the load object command.

Should look like this:

load object "Yourmodel.3ds",1
do
loop object 1
loop

Just make sure you have the model in your project folder.

Renegade you're not thinking your problems through enough. Youre already able to play the entire object animation, so set up some sort of a key press system that everytime you press the rightkey the frame the object is in increased, and everytime you press the leftkey it decreases, giving you control over the object frame. At the same time, display the current frame number onscreen so you can analyze that. Finally, get some paper and a pen, and go through the entire object animation with the arrowkeys, writing down/labeling each group of frames as you see fit.

Renegade andy: Please stop trying to get others to do all the work for you. In another thread, you couldn't even bring yourself to search for models in Turbosquid, and asked someone else to do it for you.
Now, in this thread, you ask for models again, and when someone gives you very good instructions for how to find the frames of an animation - you reveal that you don't even know how to print something on the screen.

I think you're getting far too far ahead of yourself - maybe you should learn the "Hello World" program and how to use Print and Text before worrying about animations.
