If not, i am making a game called chav shooter. i have just finnished the mainframe and am yet to add score, though i do have a reloady thingymajigybob. here is a screen shot.

It's looks like you drew it in paint? lol

Is that really an in-game shot? I think to make the chav look more chavvish you need to add a fake burberry cap, shaved hair and eyebrows, a tight fitting tracksuit, ear studs, a 2 litre bottle of cider etc. etc.

A Chav is a British youth who habitually wears tracksuits or burberry, trainers (which must be whiter than white), large chunky gold coloured jewellry, etc. They have very thick accents (both meanings of the word), and interests include modifying cars, rap/R&B, drinking cheap booze until blind, smoking, and underage parenting. Traditionally opposed to goths - pretty much the opposites of goths in all ways.

Oh - and they're often seen moving in long chains. As in, single file. The longest chain I've ever seen (I play Chav-Train-Spotting) was an impressive 14 long chain at Alton Towers Theme Park.

Yes, I hate chavs. They take offence at my hair. They constantly shout random comments at me across the street because I have long hair.

Typical "insults" include the original "Eugh! It's a girl!" and "Get a hair cut or I'll break your face!"

My favourite has to be when a fat female chav came up to me and said "Oh my god, you look like a girl" to which I replied "At least one of us does." I don't think she ever understood what I was implying...

Anyway, as for your game...

Sorry, but that guy just does not look like a chav. Where's the burberry hat? And the necklaces with each chain loop bigger than your fist? Or the broken bottle in his hand? Or his 12 year old twins called Caprice and McKenzie?

Also, when does a chav ever go to the country? If you want to hunt chavs, go to the cities!

Chavs are essentially the scum of the earth. That chavscum site that Robin suggested is an excellent place to look for references.

Having said that, though, I think we all need a good chav shooter. Keep going with it!

Chavs are annoying. They drive around town in there modded up peugeot 306's with there R n B and un-silenced exaust pipes blaring away. Its a funny sight when the police stop them and search them for drugs.

I don't live in a continent where Chavs breed, but most of the ones I've seen are seriously undernourished. Great to beat up.

hey all you guys who said it was made in paint, taadaa. just open the db file and wala (hopefully).
if anyone can improove my chav i would be greatfull. the music is from some website somewhere.

yes

you should open the darkbasic exe. and find your unzipped folder and look for chav dem. it worked for me

yep but its virtually unpplayable dude, just gittering around the screen, thats no good for a game. Make him move around a bit man
And you need to fix it so u only fire one shot per mouseclick, expecialy with limited ammo

If u need any help with coding, just ask. Thats what the foums for

We get chav-ish people around here. In the southwest though it's mostly hispanics who try to act like they're black rappers, except...different (lamer), and white people who want to be the next Eminem (even lamers) and get beat up for it (or join the football team and play helicopter ). Fix this up and it will be oodles of fun, good job.

You need to offset the sprites! At the moment the blood and target apears below and to the right of the mouse.
