Is there a way to extend the length of the demo version?

I've been trying it out for... 30 days, and now that it's run out I was wondering if there is a way to reextend it.
I read somewhere in the forums that other people have done this, so if I can could someone tell me how, please?

TGC have been kind enough to offer you a 30-day demo. Why would you want to try and take advantage of that generosity?

Oh sure, that's why they give out the demo...so that people can keep using it over and over again *sarcasm*.

I've never seen such a complete noob in all my life!

I am not trying to take advantage of anything.
Thanks to nojbox87 for his suggestions. No thanks to Uncle Sam for his very rude reply.

The reason I asked is because I wanted to try it a little longer before buying it. Even if it was extended it is still a demo version, so not all the features are enabled, help files aren't there, etc. Which I'm sure you know.

Me, a noob? I'm so insulted.
You may not realize it, Uncle Sam, but your rude replies will turn off people to buying DB or joining the forums. Show a little kindness, man!

I don't think that asking how to hack the demo of a commercial program on the forums FOR that program is going to warrent you any kindness, man.

Ok, you have a few options:

1. Buy the dam thing (I recommend buying DBP bc DBC is now a waste
2. Get the DBP demo because you can keep reseting it every time it runs out.
3. Hack it. But I highly recommend not doing that and its totally wrong and I would hate you for life if you did

and dont ask me how to hack it bc i have no idea and idc

Is that not hacking it? or have they made it so that it can be reset?

You could just get the demo on a different computer and copy your dba files across. But you shouldn't hack it, because it's illegal, and they didn't have to give you a demo in the first place. Then when that runs out you should buy it. You can't just have everything for free you know.

If you didn't have to pay, they wouldn't be able to make anymore great stuff!

There are three types of people, those that can count and those that can't.

If you're in the US, you can buy DBC for about $20 from Amazon. If you still want to try out DB before buying it, why not grab the DBP demo and use that until it expires. Then you can decide which one will suit your purposes(if you decide to buy it at all.)

I know about a code to insert in Win.ini that will change how the demo works. It removes the limits of the demo, but it disables the creation of .EXE files.
However, I don't know the position of TGC about that code, so I will ONLY post it here if I get their explicit permission.

if you've got a friend thats got the full version, then just use their disk to install it. So,(don't) try this very illegal and unrecomended plan to break the law .
