Hello.

After modeling using sub-division, I decided to step into the game development field to see how I would do.

I am not new to modeling as I have done it for about 1 year and 3 months now but I am very new to game development.

Here are two pictures of examples of 10 minute models that I created: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c136/Ediseye/Low-polymodel1.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c136/Ediseye/Low-polymodel2.jpg

I am looking for a position in modeling, not texturing and I do not currently know how to UV Map.

Please let me know if you can use my models and for what game.

Thank you!

Hello.

Sometime today, I will e-mail you with information about modeling for you.

As I said, I will need to know what type of game you are making, what it is about, and what type of models I would be making.

I am more of an environmental artist than a character artist.

Thanks.

No problem. I would be happy to have you on the team.

If we can chat thats better. Skype or something would be absolutely ideal.

Take care.

Andy

Hello.

Well, I am not going to use Skype so either I will contact you through e-mail or I can contact you through Windows Messenger if you have a .net messenger service account that I can reach you at.

Let me know which one would work for you more.

Thanks.

Open MMORPG (www.openmmo.co.uk) and Open SF http://projects.impulsefiles.co.uk are free open source projects, might be worth dropping in there, we can teach a couple of things about UV mapping as well.

Hello.

Well, I am looking to join a small little game company, not just make models for the fun of it.

If I get a opening with modeling for a game, I'll be sure to post here to try and get a answer.

Thank you.

*Edit*

It would be nice to learn more about UV Mapping. Thanks for the links...I'll have to visit them shortly.

I recommend you learn UV mapping before gaining asperations of being empolyed for model making. No offence but there's loads of model makers out there, here are some of my own.

The UV mapping isn't perfect I'm the first to admit, but that's down to time contraints mostly, rather than inability. There's a media questions section on our forums, if you have questions you are more then welcome to ask there. Get some of your models out there, in a place people can see them, and you'll be more likely to be head hunted or accepted for a professional project where cold hard cash is envolved.

Hello.

As part of the team, me and Renegade are looking for a animator that will animate trees in the wind, maybe characters, and other things.

Please post on this thread if you can help.

Thanks.

Hello, I can do animation..with 3ds max or flash or whatever. My main thing is music though, so if you've got a real project going and some ideas, I can do pretty much everything in the sound department. Im really innovative and make very professional quality audio. propheticmusic@hotmail.com
