FPSC Classic Models and Media / Adaptive crosshairs in a model - simply an idea

Ok i just thought of this right now. Well you know that in FPSC all the crosshairs are static, so you can't do ones like the ones from CoD or CSS. But i think you can.

You create a model and inside the model you create the crosshair. For examples Four Polygons a little bit away from the barrel of the gun. Now in the run and fire animations or wotever animations you simply animate the four polygons how you want.

I might give this a go at some point but i'd just like to hear what you guys think of the idea.

hmm...maybe ...could be possible,try it and find out lol.i just hope the crosshairs are in the correct place.....

wouldn't that get annoying?
i mean, if someone were to use that in a multiplayer game wouldn't the other ppl see it???

Yes, if the VWep included the crosshair polys, otherwise, no. Why you would want adaptive crosshairs is beyond me, of course I rarely play PC games...
