hi,im having problems with my framerate when i play a game called 'morrowwind'.my framerate drops every now & then for a few seconds.ive messed with my video card settings & no setting seems to help.i also have the latest driver for my video card,at least im pretty sure i do.

any way i was wondering if anyone knows of a program that monitors your system.that can pinpoint the exact problem that is causing this slowdown!(some program(free hopefully) that will show everything going on in my system during the time i want it to monitor.

thanks if u can help!

What graphics card are you running? And are you using modded drivers or the ones from the company?

I'm guessing it happens when you're moving around the map, in that case it's because you have either a slow hdd, little ram or slow ram, or a combination of all three. Either way it could be loading the next part of the map into the memory... I have that problem here...

Oh so I am assuming you are using a laptop. I was going to recommend using Nvidia modded drivers and then overclocking it a little bit but since its a "go" its a laptop and laptops do not overclock well at all lol. Cant really help you there. Maybe add some more RAM but thats all you can really do on a laptop.

well,it doesnt happen only when im roaming around.it happens when im just looking at the stats too.

how would i know if i had a slow hd or slow ram?

also im guessing no one knows of any free program that monitors a pcs entire system??

i know pc techs have equipment that can do it,but i dont want to go pay one of them to find out what it is.the thing is,this never happened about 6 mos ago.so something that was installed on my pc or changed some setting caused this.also i dont think its a virus or spyware.
