Everywhere I look the forums say that I can attach a file up to 50 megabytes. I've been uploading 4 mb files with no problem, but tonight I struggled with a 24 mb file for almost an hour. I finally went with a free file host, but people are having problems with it. Then I split the file into three parts, 10 mb, 10mb, and 4 mb, but the 10s wouldn't upload either.

Has the limit been reset to 5mb? Was it just acting funny tonight? I tried the regular file attachment button and the Java applet, both would upload the entire file then turn up an error at the end of it all.

Frustrating stuff. Thanks!

What's your connection speed as it might be timing out - if your using the browse button then don't use the java applet one - it should be able to handle bigger files

amd athlon xp 2600+,1280mb,FX 5200 128mb,200gb & 120gb,xp pro sp2

I'm on broadband. It's fast... The Java app automatically tells me the files are too big. The browse button starts my IE green progress bar to work. It doesn't die until it looks like the operation is complete.

That worked so why can't a 12meg demo work?
