i made a small test landscape in blender,exported it as an xfile.loaded it into dbp,but my vertex coloring isnt there in dbp.

i did a render in blender,so i know i have the settings right.

any ideas how to get this to work without a vertex shader??

Try;

convert object fvf objnum,338

after loading object. I've seen it mentioned in a few posts about colouring vertices and the use of SET VERTEXDATA DIFFUSE
