i heard people saying that to convert .3ds to .x i should use the DBConv.exe , but i have no idea where to get it from. please help

Try "Tools" inside your Dark Basic directory.

i have dbpro with patch 3 and 4 and there is no converter in this folder

It isn't in the DBPro directory, you'll only find it if you have DBC. I'm sure there was a download somewhere.
