I've been trying to write a cockpit algorhtihm for a biplane. Pushing "control" cycles your view from ahead to right wing then tail then left wing then repeat (similar to the old Atari Warbirds). Currently the plane moves by pitch and yaw (no roll). I put in false limbs (0-scaled meshes) in the model to position the camera and to look in the various directions (i.e. point camera limb position x/y/z). The camera works fine when there is no pitch to the plane but when the plane is not level, the wing views are not rolled but camera rotation is zero with respect to the ground (the camera stays level while the model turns). Also, when the plane xrotation (pitch) is 90 to 270, the cockpit and tail views are upside down. I have also tried matching the camera to the planes current orientation then using "turn camera" and "pitch camera" to shift the view by 90 degree increments and same result- Any thoughts?

Well you should be repositioning the camera at the limb positions on every loop, it sounds like you are just leaving the camera in one place, or the limbs are not rotating with the plane.

The camera repositions at every loop. The limbs if scaled up and visible do rotate with the model . . .
