Heres my code for simple movement within my game, when i try to go foward, nothing happens, and when i try to rotate the vehicle, it rotates 1 degree and stops rotating, please help!

   if upkey()=1 then move object 5, 4
   if downkey()=1 then move object 5, -4
   if rightkey()=1 then rotate object 5, 0, 4, 0
   if leftkey()=1 then rotate object 5, 0, -4, 0

I dont know what your talking about not moving forward but to turn, you need to do this:

+ Code Snippet

do
   Rem player controls
   if upkey()=1 then move object 5, 4
   if downkey()=1 then move object 5, -4
   rotate object 5, 0, r, 0
   r = r + 4 * rightkey() - 4 * leftkey()
   sync
loop

The rotate object command rotates from object's origional position.
