I seem to have a problem. The first level ends fine, the second loads. When the player gets overwhelmed in level two, he dies of course, and is reborn back into the level. There is no hurt zone, but as soon as he's reborn, the screen reddens and he starts being drained of health at an alarming rate, running down to nothing and dying. Then he is reborn again, and the same thing happens. Has this ever happened to you? I checked the level for something that could be doing this. I even thought, since the start point was below ground, maybe he fell and took damage when reborn, so I put a waypoint above so he doesn't fall but starts on level ground.

I did some searches, I never think of the right words. I tried, player dies, player dying, spawn.

Sorry, this is a correction. I meant checkpoint, not waypoint.

I believe that is what he is trying to find out. It seems odd. Is there an enemy nearby? on the other side of a nearby wall perhaps too? above? umm....i can't really think of anything.

You misunderstood my question.

Let me rephrase it.

Is he dying as the result of a script?

The reason I ask is because the script could continue to do damage in the death sequence.
You know, when the screen is red and he's falling to the ground.
If your script doesn't stop inflicting its damage in the detection of the player's death, then it is killing him again before you are relocated to the respawn position.
Thus, he suddenly dies again.
