Hello All,

In February I posted to this group in reference to a problem I was experiencing. I have an antiquated hp Omnibook 4100 (PII 266 MMX) that I take along when I travel. Knowing that Darkbasic applications will run dreadfully slow on this computer, I would still like to write code and debug with it. The problem is that the graphics accelerator does not support Direct 3D. Even after using the command, "SET EMULATION ON", I attempt to run the program and get error message "System Error - Surfaces could not be created. D3D Devices do not support backbuffer bit-depth and HW Acceleration."

Does anyone know of a solution that would allow me to over-ride this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kj
