There are a lot of anti-England supporters in Scotland this year. It must be difficult to be that jealous.

We just dread England winning, and having to hear about it every 3 minutes.

Blame the media .

I was at Old Trafford today, was a FANTASTIC afternoon. I was at the end England attacked first half, south stand so I got a pretty good view of all the goals.

Especially the rendition of Are You Scotland In Disguise? performed by 71,000 happy fans after the 4th goal.

A musical feat only beaten by Peter Crouch and The Dance.

I was there against Hungary too - anybody else?

The only thing that topped Crouch's "dance" was his amazing penalty kick

Crouch is an absolute legend! .... I mean leg end. His body popping skills are surpassed only by his constant giraffe impression.

Nah, can't be harsh to the guy. He did well!

Aha! Finally a sport where the USA never win! I only ever watch football (soccer to americans) when the world cups on. Brazil will win though. As usual, I'll support England and (for no particular reason) Holland.

I think it's quite clear here that the Scottish are simply in lack of "it", and must make up for "it" by doing extremely silly things. Like being retards.

I played football (soccer) in High School (Right Wing O if anyone wants to know my old position, and I played sweep once because our normal sweep hurt his ankle) and if we called it "soccer" our coach, who was born and raised in Manchester England, would make us do 30 laps around our field... making him (imho) the greatest footy coach in the universe We had a genuine, authentic englishman as our coach and it made the game 110% more fun

I played in goal alot. Not out of choice though. It's the customary position given to the worst player in the school. I let in 7 goals within a minute once. 'Twas fun.

We all play football (football) in school. Practically the law. I grew up near Manchester (manchester). Place is mainly a dump. Although not as bad as Liverpool (just to wind up the scallies).

Although I grew up in Wales mostly where it almost a shooting offence not to play Rugby. ie. real man's game where you can lose your teeth. Well, so said my sadistic (requirement for the job in the UK) gym teacher.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

You really don't agree that it is the most stupidest thing to do? I mean come on, support a real country, not a player that has the same SURNAME. I honestly think there is something wrong with you people.

There's 6 Trinidad+Tobago players in the Scottish premier league, it's really the closest thing we have to a Scottish team to support .

Good luck to the English side, but understand that showing support is paramount to social suicide, not our rules remember, personally I hate football and would happily disregard it.

If we start judging nations by their sport fans and media, then I'm afraid we're all looking pretty bad.

Football is more a sadistic obsession that has been poisoned by popularity and celebrities than a sport.
