I own cartography shop and i decided i should test out a map i made with it in fpsc.. this is what i got it looks ok, but collision is messed at SOME points, it is not as bad as some people say it is...

getting carto actually makes me want to make a game with fpsc belive it, i've had fpsc since last christmas, and i still havent finished a game

Correct me if im wrong but if you use cartography shop the level you create is imported as an entity, right? If so the framerate wouldnt be as affected as if you used segments, right? If so, cartography shop may be the next thing on the to-buy-list.

dont tell me you forgot the lightmaps?

make the most of the scene, just dump a light in CS and render them, the lightmapping quality is about 10 times better than FPSC and takes a couple seconds

but its looking good

i want to buy 3DWS, but its so damn expensive and (even though i wouldnt use them) no stock media is actually included

pretty ignorant customer services ive heard about with leadwerks

sorry jon, when .x file is exported from cshop you get two files one is filename.x and the other filename_lm.x and the lm file has the lightmap information, i doubt that you can include the lightmaps in fpsc i'm affraid.... but 3dws, well, if you want something a little more fancy then get that.. but cshop is more than enough for me
