Greetings Everyone! After three months of hard work, my Ocarina of Time spoof is complete and released to the public! Entitled “Legend of Zelda: Parody of Time”, it is a story about a videogame obsessed boy who loses his memory and adopts the alias of Link. Now it is up to him to rescue the Homecoming Princess Zelda who has been asked to Prom by the evil Ganondorf. You can view it on Google Video or by clicking this Link! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5073271653120573120

This video is an entire half hour long. That’s right! A whopping thirty minutes of quality Zelda parody. Weighing in at a manageable 74 Mb, It will take your DSL (or equivalent) about 12 minutes to download, or about 12 seconds to stream. Dial-up users will have to wait about 5 hours to watch it though... (Sorry, I was on Dial-up until just last week so I know how you feel)...

This was my final project for my Video-Editing class so I was on a tight schedule and was not able to include everything I wanted. (But I probably would have never finished it if I could take all the Time I want)... I was not the only person to work on this project and I would like to thank all involved, namely my friends, my teacher, and especially assistant director Ryan.

If you haven’t already, click this link to view the Video... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5073271653120573120

If you have trouble viewing it you may have to download Google Video player (about 4 Mb)... I also may be posting a higher quality video if this gets a good reaction.

Anyways, I desperately want to hear any feedback you guys have to offer. Please post any comments, questions, suggestions, complaints, critiques, praises, or flames (if you’ve actually watched it)... Thank you in advance for any feedback!

I loved it! The part where he sneaks pass the guards is priceless.

Thanks Guys! I'm glad you liked it FullRush! While we were first shooting that scene we were kicked out by the campus police officer. We had to re-shoot in a diferent location so the routes I had planned for the guards were messed up. I wish we had gotten footage of the officer chastizing us, it would have made a great blooper.
And Agent Dink, thanks for whishing me luck. Maybe you can start the download at night and let it sit until morning. Thats what I always did when I wanted to download a big file.

Anyways, more feedback is more than welcome.

Fantastic, the humor is flawless.

I've heard that prison talk in the end of a flash parody b4.

I honostly didn't think I'd watch the whole thing, but I ended up doing so. Quite funny, for any Zelda fan. Your team did a good job with production to(No shaky camera, special effects, etc.).

Favorite scene has to be when the "ganon theme" music is playing during the Hyrule castle scene, and Link is pressed to the back of the wall.

Wow! Thanks everyone! I'm gald you guys enjoyed it.
The "Hey" "Hey" "Listen" scene was probably my personal favorite.
In this low quality format the credits are unreadable. I don't feel like everyone who worked on it is getting credit. I've redone the credits so the text is larger and will probably be replacing this version with it. But I am unsure as to when.

Thanks again guys!

*Bump*

Thanks again everyone! I really appreciate your comments! (Keep 'em coming)

I new (slightly) better quality version is up on Google Video now. With improved Title and Credits along with (gasp) 30 extra seconds of blooper footage! So... If you havn't already, go and watch! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5073271653120573120
And if you've already seen it... watch it again... (you know you want to)...

Thanks again for all the feedback everyone! It makes the development worthwhile...

Edit: And I am aware that I double posted, but It's been four days since the last one...

Was about to complain about the low-quality of the footage.

Pretty neat fan film overall.
