Im quite new to DBP but im making a RPG and was wondering weather i have to texture the terain or weather i can model the terain.

Textures are 2D, and models are 3D, and your question is a bit messed up.

Terrains are modelled, or a matrix is used.

oh yea i made a mistake i meant weather it wouled be best to make the train threw 3ds or program it with DBP

you will be happier in the long run using a model over a matrix, also you'll have more control of the building process if you use something like 3DWS, which I am finding to be a blast to use...
