Could you tell me how to make one image semi-transparent

Translucent.

Could with paste image , paste a translucent image?

It must be a sprite as far as I know for it to be displayed as translucent.

If you save the image attached as a .png in the c drive and then run this code you should have a translucent image on the screen.

You can also lock a plane to the screen and texture it then use 'fade object'

Or you could do it the complicated way and make it transparent using memblock images which would be useful for making select parts semi-transparent

set sprite alpha and set image colorkey should also work. Try using those commands (set image colorkey gets irritating sometimes though)
