What is a good tool to use for making good 3D objects for my programs? Perferably cheap, or downloadable, but also good and effiecent. I'm open to suggestions.

i would definetely suggest milkshape. it's simple, self-explanitory, and definetely on the cheap-side for such quality. you can download the trial at www.milkshape3d.com, which lasts for about 31 days, and registration costs $20. it includes an animator, pre-built skeletons for games like unreal and quake, and it exports to a massive amounts of file types, including db's embedded .3ds (i believe that's the extension...) and .s.

we're all mad here.
