Newcomers DBPro Corner / DLL Loading Question

Hey hey! I'm not exactly a newcomer, but this is a newcomer issue:

I'm using DBPro 6.1, trying to load DKAVM.dll and call the DK GET VERTEX POSITION X function. I've copied the file into my project directory and compiler directory.

Sample code that I've seen doesn't use the load dll or call dll commands. It just calls the DK functions by name. The command isn't recognized when I try that. Should the DLLs be in a different directory? Is there an INI file that needs to be updated?

Please note that DK Dll is not really needed now as DBPro 6.1 has loads of vertex commands built in.
