Hi everybody,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to make a script that make the world (entity, character , segment, ect...)disappear when you are far away in the level, and you come back it's appear ?

And if it's possible , somebody could make it

PS : In fact I would like the same system in Morrowind for those a know... because it can decrease bugs and lags

Thanks for your answer.

You could use :plrdistfurther=800:setalphafade=0 but scripts only works with dynamic entities.

Maybe your looking for Umans load entities on the fly script. Check at the top of the Scripts section. I think it's stickied.

JEEZ!You people just STFU! You waste more space complaining about people wasting space than the people your bashing! Man, I thought I had no life.

Ok, thanks all, I'll try the script and I'll read the post about "Uman load entities on the fly" .

PS: But what is Uman exactly please ?

Thanks again

Anthrax,

Yes you could use the load and uload entities scripts on the fly method for almost any entity. Characters can be a little tricky though I believe they must have a spawn script that allows the main fpi to run otherwsie they will just spawn and idle permanently using the rotatehead fucntion if one applies.

The scripts in the downloaded were really designed for non character entities to aid optimisation by removing other kinds of unecessary entities which would normally add to high poly counts in complex levels.

Being honest its been so long since I made up the scripts that I have forgeotten exactly whats contained in them.

I can write a lot but am poor at remembering things.

Now what was it I was saying?
