Hi there. Ive been a host for about a year now and im now offering hosting for free for TGC members. There is no catch, no payments required. Ive just always liked this place and ever since Jimmy left ive noticed lots of people having hosting problems.

The hosting details are:
200mb space 4000mb bandwidth. If ever you need more in the future, just contact me and ill up your account.
You can have a free subdomain.galekus.com whatever you want and if you have a domain name, i can set your account up with that too.

It has cpanel. Which means easy site management. Also has php and mysql.

The server is pretty reliable and barely any downtime.

Want an account? You can either email me at frozeflamehbh@yahoo.com, message me thru aim at f50z3n flam3, or add me to msn at g4l3ku5@yahoo.com

Im available most times, but so you know, im in the Central time zone.

I dont know how many accounts im going to be able to manage tho, so get your account now if you want one.

Oh one last thing, not required but if you can have a link back to Galekus.com after your site is up, that would be greatly appreciated.

I got my website up and running.

Here are my comments:

Pro's:
-Very nice interface
-good details onwhat to do
-supports frontpage
-supports PHP
-supports MySQL
-Supports FTP
-ablility to make subdomains on a sub domain!!

Con's:
-Copy and pasting Editor,just a screen with a textbox for HTML or PHP.


Thats my rating,i rate it 8/10

I'v been offering hosting for TGC or just about anyone for free for over a year in the form of a sub domain. But i only had one person bite. Currently i have all this dude has plus more =).

but the only catch is that my server isnt dedicated its a shared hosting plan by dreamhost. But i just hit the 2TB bandwidth this month so now i don't really worrie about what people do.

what about a site not really about dbp programming stuff or even game programming?(operating system development)

I like how you got free emails and can put subdomains on subdomains

You have so much control using Galekus, it's like having a paid package, without the full domain, or the bill. I love it also.

9/10 (It would be a 10 if I had a free full domain of my own too lol)

i just changed it so addon domains and parked domains are unlimited rather then 1. previous accounts i gave out have all been upgraded.

Just signed up. First impressions, 10/10. Absolutely fantastic. The most comprehensive list of features and control panel options I have ever seen. Brilliant, a real credit to the community. This more than deserves to be stickied. At least then we will have no more "What is the best free webhost" posts; as this would clearly be the winner.

aah very nice thing to do frozen.

I am in posession of the domain name "www.oddmind.net" (from dreamhost) but was looking for actual web hosting.

Is it possible for me to have your webhosting and my domain name put together? Im very new to the domain scene and have only had tripod sites before.

Yeah real brilliant! My friends are all jealous that I have such a good FREE hosting plan, whereas they all have dodgy ones! Now somewere down the track I will upgradr and get a domain!

And no im actually upgrading today to a 80gb space 1tb bandwidth server, which is double my current. I have plenty of money to keep my hosting up, as i need a place to host myself dont I?
