FPSC Classic Scripts / better enemies

Is there anyway where you can make your enemies shoot at a farthur distance than running right next to you? and how would you script it???

You can change the variable playerwithindistance in the a.i. script or you can check out Intellimatter and A.I. 2.0 to see if they fit your needs.
If you search the scripts forum you should be able to find a variety of scripts that might work for you.
Check out the stickies at the top of this forum.They have some useful info too.

i sugest intell i mater it is a great script!! and it works, unless you now what you looking for in the scrip u shouldent bother trying to edit it

tird of the same boring games, well then buy a cocon game and elemanate your bordem

I would read the scripting tutorial at the top of this forum.Being able to tailor your own scripts to your needs is more effective than just importing a script.Learning how to script a little can allow you to make your game a unique one.
Importing a script may work fine but if you script the enemy a.i. for enemies one at a time,which is the only way I have found to get decent enemy a.i.,then you are going to want to know how to tailor the a.i. the way you want it.

I agree with Fred, you need to know how to script for the best results.
Study the best scripts you can find, because that's the best way to learn.
Edit a copy of the scripts until you get a feel for the conditions and actions.
Before you know it, you'll be creating unique scripts from the ground up.
