ohh... bloodeath. Ignore the FPS-maniacs here. 28-24 FPS is perfectally acceptable given the software.
Also ignore the whole 'remove dynamic entitys' gig. I filled a level with hundreds of dynamic entitys once. You want to know what created more lag? A normal level.
Dynamic entitys take mabey 1 fps out of the equation. 2 if you have way too many. But the levels can take out all or none of the fps.
What does this mean? Level Optimization. You need to redesign your levels to have areas further apart, have walls preventing a person seeing through the doors. you know... the stuff. THAT is the best way to reduce lag.
Of course... dynamic lighting and dynamic shadows do a fair number on the game too.
