Some of you guys were wanting to know about the sitting animation script I made back in the EA version. I re-created the script, remember this is a ladder climbing animation and you have to fiddle the guy to get him to sit correctly.

Cheers

Sweet! Thanks.

I tried to use the script in my game, but the guy floats. When I try to use page up/down to position him so that when the game is run he is at desk level, he doesnt show up. Any hints?

When you right click on a character you go to where it says AI main and left click on the three little dots.

It worked fine for me. I simply placed the script (which I named sitting.fpi) in the scriptbankpeople folder and assigned it as the characters AI main.

I can't understand how their can be so much difference between peoples systems that a simple script will work on one but not on another and within the same program.

I am using a clean install and V1.03 RC1.

Looks good, Jordan. Thank you!

BTW: Can I post this on fpsFREE.com?

I change the scripts animate=X to 121 to make the guy lean more. This doesn't require positioning the charachter around alot. See NickyDude's PDF Guide.

*NOTE*
Centering the guy with a unit in grid veiw helps, gives you a fixed ponit of reference. ]
