Hi

I just started using the darkbasic programming language and i think its great. But i have a few questions about it and the other products on the darkbasic website. 1.Is there really a difference in quality between the regular and professional darkbasic? 2.What other are necessary to make a game?(note i only need the ones that can make a great game with nothing already made). 3. can darkbasic be used to make a database like the one used in a videostore?

Thanks for ur help.

1/Db Pro has more speed, and has shaders.

2/You need a 2D art package, and a 3D modelling package. Take your pick from the hundreds out there.

3/DB has sequential file access, it can make a database, but all files have to be loaded first. DB is made mainly for game making.

Types don't, but memblocks are part of DB Classic expansion pack.
