lol... tritto I suppose?? But nah, let's not bash sergey here. I used to have a friend from Russia named Sergei, and he was pretty cool. (but he did have anger probs when he was off his medication) True story I swear, he lived right by me.

I think he is either

a) Jealous of Crazy's art skills.
or
b) Skipped the part about the poly count, both times the crazy said it.

Keep up the great work The crazy!

New Character! Hopgob! This character mainly populates lvl 2. The model is 1020 vertices and works fine on my comp. I don't know how others will work so if I could just get off my lazy butt and finish a demo I'd find out...

Old screenie of lvl 2 with 1st lvl bg still and new enemies not in place.

Thanks FPSC, and don't worry I haven't forgotten about that gun I'm texturing for you.

The crazy, speaking of poly counts I dont see why there should be a problem with having 10-20 of those 2000k guys running around, actually more so with the level detail you're using. My current project's skysphere alone is 2000 polies, not to mention a 20k map with a 4096x4096 texture, thats excluding other player object's, lag from online play, special visual/sound effects, and all of the collision checks, and Im still clocking around 50-75 FPS on my relatively old computer. Im fairly sure you could spend 30k polies on the baddies if you leave your maps as low-poly as they are right now, but up the texture quality a bit.

Eitherway goodluck.

By just doing it. It was advanced terrain, tree and plants, and I believe high quality water at the same time with realtime reflections, all at about 60 fps.

Just go to my Wip thread, called "What do you think of my map?"

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I haven't been working on it either because I've been at an animation boot camp. I'm still resting and all from animating for 9 hours every day but I'll definitely keeps working on it

If the crazy makes sure that the objects are hidden off screen then performance should be fine, I have a function code somewhere if you need it.

Those are good models, and the game looks greats, but you may want to handle your polycount, I'm sure one iteration of smoothing looks good enough

Cool guys, I'll look into it. If you could post it here I'd appreciate it, but I'll probably just find it by searching. Anyway, I'm really not feeling like coding but I wanted to work on the game so I modelled some more. Here's a new character. I was making based of augumon the digimon but I screwed up so I just made some random lizard thing. I don't have a name for it. Anyone want to name it for me?

Hey guys, I really hate to say this, but I'm going to be taking some time off from programming due to the fact that I'm just not as into it as modeling and animation. I'm going to be focusing more on doing what I really like to which is modeling, and helping out other people more. Right after I post this I will be announcing my monster model pack in the 3d forums. This pack will include many of my cartoonish characters including... *drumroll* ... the raptob! I know a lot of you have been wanting to get your hands on that so I hope I can help out with all your games Sorry for those who were looking forward to this game. I'll start it up again eventually.
