I didn't start posting until I made a game. I didn't want to start out as a noob.
1. Check out my first game - Pong y2k.5 - Balls of Steel
2. Same as above.
3. I've never done such a thing. Considering how fabulous I am, it's just impossible.

my first was about 4 forum rehauls ago.(5years now)
I was asking how to traverse multiple matrices, DRAV tried to show me bubble sorting, got thrown into the deep end and never looked back.

It was before the book. I've said it before, Apollo 'search' is your friend. 99% of all questions people ask have been answered before. Besides, answer 3 will help explain it a bit.

My first thread was announcing my WIP, Pegz3D:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=13596&b=5

Turns out that I posted it into Announcements rather than WIP

btw, that snippet would no longer work. DB used to treat function variables slightly different.

least it felt noobish to me anyway.

1.
My Oldest thread in existence (I'm sure I've posted before March 2005) Was asking for 3D modelling tips and tutorials
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=50414&b=3
2.
My first game WIP is my only game wip, but the first thread was a mess due to my indecisiveness and changing everything over and over, people were patient with me (Its locked due to request)

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=49592&b=8
3.
Bad posts...I've had a few, one that was very offensive so I won't repost it, so I'll use another one instead. A demonstration why you shouldn't be online when you're p**sed off about a thread getting locked because of other people

I'm from the oldskool. I think I un-newbie-fied myself on the previous DB forums before it all got updated to Apollo. I think they were around from 2000-2002.

Here's my first post here. Great response ...

1. post that wasn't a "hi I'm new here"
Never did one. My first post was asking how to make a sphere roll around properly. At the time (2000) DB just couldn't do it properly. Dr Avalanche (remember him?) had some decent code from one of the first decent demos (was like Marble Madness) that he gave me. Was a top bloke for helping. He did leave one crucial line incorrect though. Think it was done on purpose to make sure I deserved the code rather than just ripping it off. Doubt the post exists as would have been mid 2000 I believe.
2. game that they posted here
Dai Blazer. Basically a clone of Trail Blazer. Sadly a DB patch cocked it right up, and about the same time that where I work went down the pan (2001 for obvious reasons with companies that deal in travel) and it threw me off. Was really close to completion too. Once DBP came out I meant to convert and finish it, but you know how it is. If I go back to it I will probably take a bigger step and make it all twisty turny (roller coaster type effort) rather than full retro-tastic remake
3. horrible n00b question or post(if its not deleted)
Don't think I made any. Fully prepared to get some pointed out, but at the time the forum had a very good search feature, and everyone was pretty much doing the same thing, so hardly ever needed to ask questions

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

that one got in the newsletter and we still get posts asking about it today.

i never really made any flaimbate posts, just posts about simple functions of DBPro when i was first wrapping my fingers around it.

1. I never said anything of the sort of "Hi, I'm new here."

2. Erm... I posted my menu code for a project I'm still now working on, but instead in C++, which I've changed the name of to Eye of Vax. But I'm not sure that counts, so instead, a TI-83 game:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=78801&b=20

3. Noobish post... Erm... It was after my forum noob phase, in my opinion, and only because I couldn't figure out why the heck I couldn't Cls at the beginning of a loop with 3D mode on. I'm not going to give you any more than that. (That's basically it anyway.)

Edit: I'm obsessive, so I just went back and removed my signature from my threads because I hate it.
