This is a video walk thru showing my custom made segments. It doesnt have any action in it, but I wanted to show some of the realism you can get from having detail to reality.

It's 12 megs.

I made all the segments myself from photos I took and then edited. Pay close attention to the heating vents, the water pipes upstairs and the unfinished walls and floor as well as the drywall and mudding detail.

If you want the segments, they are free for download and full free use on this thread

Well,,dress it up with some blood, use some more studding for the walls, and make it darker, could be an earie place. I made the 2x4's to use with it. I have an idea in mind for what I am going to use the the segments with.

Could also make a good garage type building, a good attic or basement...sky is the limit. Thats why I gave them away, to see who could use them for what.

Main thing was to show detail. Thats what makes games more realistic to me. Not all the blood and guns and such. It's whether or not I can look at the room and relate it to reality.

Well I was feeling like I was in a home so you made that realistic .
The pictures of something near you or your home being work on?

Pictures are from my garage believe it or not. The insulation I added in photopaint with a texture from a webstore. The drywall I made from scratch. all the other stuff is pretty much from here and there.

I couldn't agree more. Very nice and original. I give it two thumbs up.
