I've seen some of the demos and they look pretty good, also a few commercial games such as Dracula by Wanadoo has been created using the engine, anyone else used it?

Never heard of it.

And judging by the number of replies you've gotten, I guess I'm not the only one

Doesn't look all that special from the web site really.

I've seen in advertised on devmaster.net a few times. It looks like a decent engine, but honostly I can't really give much input.

for anyone that really cares lol I downloaded it tried it out, it seems like a good product, but the IDE is quite confusing, they have their own BASIC language called 'Gel Basic', but to be honest, I prefer DB Pro for ease of use, try out the terror island demo on the site it looks like a good game, they seem to capture that 'horror' feel quite nicely

You gotta be kidding me? have you not seen MGS 4 for the PSP yet? Oh my god! it looks amazing for something so small

The engine looks cool, but I've made my pick on what gaming engines I'm using, even if it is 3 (what? I can't make up my mind )

Nope never heard of it.

@Musashi - That pic is a little misleading as that's obviously a prerendered video. Even the DS has awesome prerendered video.

@MikeS - Thanks for the devmaster.net link! I've never heard of that site before

That's actually a screenshot from the new MGS PS3 video , photoshopped onto an image of the PSP.

No problem Jeku. It's a cool site. It's got pretty much every 3D engine listed, and the forums are really cool. Lots of professionals hang out there. There are also a few great articles on the site about software renders, and other articles you can't easily find.

I found that the simplefps example is very fast and excellent quality, it really does seem like a commercial quality engine, well worth considering.

see how it runs on your system, exe and media attached

Not quite, I couldn't be bothered to wait for PS to load so paint did the job just fine

There are some pretty cool engines out there, like Dark Basic Professional, Torque, Truevision, Ogre, Unreal (I wouldn't even buy it if I won the lottery) All are heading in the direction of new gen quality, with additions of shader support, Dark Basic relies on people's shaders skills, some quality ones are availible, which you don't have to even leave this community for quality stuff, if you people must (am quilty myself) you got Torque which has a Shader Engine in EA and full release soon, which I tried the demo and looks awesome, for Mac, PC and Linux (demo and EA Windows only at the moment) and has proven it muli-platform compatibility with their demo on the Xbox 360. TV3D has a new version in Dev for new gen quality, but its been in beta for far too long. And Ogre is already at the new gen quality with Mac support too.

There are plenty of these awesome commercial quality engines on the internet finding one is like a kid in a sweet shop with only 50 pence to spend and the choice of lushness is cruel, I'll look into this engine as it sound pretty cool.
