One way is to append the object animations to the end of your model, an example of how to this is below.
`load the idle animation into object number 101
load object "Spectre-Idle.x", 101
`record the frame where the idle anim starts and ends
idle_start as integer = 0
idle_end as integer = total object frames( 101 )
`now load and append the walk animation
append object "Spectre-Walk.x", 101, idle_end
`and again keep track of the start and end frames
walk_start as integer = idle_end
walk_end as integer = total object frames( 101 )
`and to play the idle use
loop object 101, idle_start, idle_end
`and to play the walk anim use
loop object 101, walk_start, walk_end
