Ok i have completed a dialogue system for eternal destiny.

It has a .dba file which contains a function to be included within the main scenario code.

The problem is that when i have included the file the compiler does not recognise the function that im trying to call.

I am using darkedit.

The source file containing the function was however written in DBpro but i want to included it in classic. I dont think the source has any pro only commands in it. Any ideas. Its probably something simple

Simple? Have you spelt the filename right? What about the 'endfunction'?

Have you tried sticking the function into the main .dba file and seeing if it can recognise it from there? That's usually what I do when I'm debugging a problem like this.

Yes all of that is in order. When i am calling a function from an included file do i just need to type the function name and its arguments?

I think i have now fixed the problem.

I was writing the #include command like this:-

# include ("include.dba")

and it does not need the parenthesis. In fact it does not work if u have them in.

I feel dumb
